Ekrem Jevrić, singer of 'Kuća pos'o', dies in New York

Ekrem Jevrić, the singer known for the viral hit ‘Kuća pos’o’, passed away in New York following a sudden heart attack. Born in Montenegro, Jevrić gained international attention for his song describing the daily life of immigrants, which became a phenomenon across the former Yugoslavia.

His rise to fame included appearing in a Dolce & Gabbana campaign and participating in reality shows such as ‘Farma’. However, his health declined prior to his death; he had undergone surgery for blocked blood vessels months earlier. On March 4, 2016, Jevrić was found dead in his car by his son after sitting down to drive to work. An autopsy confirmed the cause of death as a heart attack.
