El Alto confirmed as home venue for Bolivia national football team

Eliser Roca, the mayor of El Alto, has confirmed that the Bolivian national football team will continue to play its home matches for the upcoming South American World Cup qualifiers at the Villa Ingenio Municipal Stadium.

To prepare the venue for international competition, the municipal government announced plans to install seating in the stadium, an improvement that was not included in previous budgets. Andrés Costa, president of the club Always Ready, expressed support for the decision, noting that the stadium will serve as a venue for both international national team matches and professional club football.
