El Asombrario explores ‘liternatura’ through new literary series

The ‘Relatos de Agosto’ series, a collaboration between ‘El Asombrario’ and Clara Obligado’s Writing Workshop, focuses on ‘liternatura’—a concept blending literature with nature.

One featured piece by Laura Delfino explores a manuscript found in a house near the southern Andes. The papers belonged to a biologist who studied fungi in the region and was found deceased in his home. The narrative follows the chronological notes of the biologist, detailing his declining health and his isolation in a remote, rainy environment while continuing his research on fungi.

Another contribution, ‘Un escritor y su obra’ by Andrea Viveca Sanz, provides a lyrical exploration of the creative process and the relationship between an author and their characters, referencing works by Clarice Lispector, Franco Vaccarini, Luisa Valenzuela, and Gustavo Muñoz.
