El Bolsón launches tourism discount program for Río Negro residents

The town of El Bolsón has launched ‘Rionegrinos en Ruta’, a program designed to encourage local tourism by offering residents of Río Negro province discounts of up to 20%.

To access these benefits, residents must present their National Identity Document (DNI) to prove residency. Depending on the participating establishment, discounts of 10%, 15%, or 20% are available. The program covers various sectors of the local tourism industry, including accommodations such as cabins, hotels, and campsites; gastronomy including restaurants, breweries, and cafes; and adventure activities like guided excursions and mountain experiences. It also extends to local shops selling regional products, crafts, and souvenirs.

Unlike seasonal promotions, this program is active year-round, including during low seasons and long weekends. Payments can be made via cash, debit cards, or digital wallets, subject to the specific conditions of each provider. All participating businesses are formally licensed, and a list of eligible establishments can be found on the official El Bolsón tourism website.
