El Bolsón to begin major sewage and energy infrastructure projects

Mayor Bruno Pogliano has announced the commencement of two major infrastructure projects in El Bolsón aimed at addressing long-standing urban challenges and preparing for future growth.

The first initiative is the Sewage Master Plan, which involves an investment exceeding 27 billion pesos. This project focuses on expanding and modernizing the sewage system and liquid waste treatment infrastructure. The expansion is expected to allow for new domestic connections in previously underserved areas, including the Usina neighborhood and sectors near the city center.

The second project is an energy plan designed to stabilize the electrical supply for El Bolsón and the Comarca Andina. This work will establish a new power feed from the north to complement the existing southern supply, creating a more reliable energy scheme for the region.
