Argentina reports multiple violent crimes and fraud investigations

Several criminal incidents have been reported across Argentina. In Resistencia, Chaco, Claudia Elizabeth Romero was arrested after allegedly throwing boiling water on her 27-year-old ex-partner during an argument. The victim suffered second-degree burns on his hands, legs, and thigh and was treated at Hospital Julio C. Perrando.

In El Bolsón, a woman was detained after attempting to set a bakery employee on fire. The assailant reportedly doused the worker with fuel and attempted to use matches, but the employee managed to escape and seek help after the matches fell to the floor. The victim is reported to be out of danger.

In Punta Alta, authorities are investigating a nursing home for alleged computer fraud. Investigators conducted raids after a resident reported irregular bank activity, including an unauthorized 10-million-peso loan and various suspicious transfers. Police suspect the facility's owners used the victim's personal data to access funds.
