El Calor de Cancún pursues Play-In spot in LNBP regular season finale

El Calor de Cancún is approaching the end of the 2026 LNBP regular season, currently sitting in 13th place with a record of six wins and 16 losses. The team is fighting to secure a position in the Play-In tournament, which includes teams ranked from fifth to twelfth place.

With only three series remaining, the team's path involves an away series against Fuerza Regia on September 25 and 26, followed by a home series against Gambusinos de Fresnillo on October 1 and 2. The regular season will conclude with a final home series against Lobos Plateados de Puebla on October 6 and 7.

Currently, the top four positions—held by Soles de Mexicali, Astros de Jalisco, Fuerza Regia, and Panteras de Aguascalientes—grant direct access to the Zone Semifinals. El Calor de Cancún remains just above Correcaminos UAT in the standings.
