El Chalet Cantoni announces September cultural programming

El Chalet Cantoni, a cultural space under the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Sports, has announced its programming for early September. The schedule includes a variety of audiovisual, musical, and design activities in Rivadavia.

A basic filmmaking and audiovisual production course, titled ‘Cómo hacer cine en San Juan’, will begin on September 2. The program covers scriptwriting, directing, production, and technical aspects such as lighting and sound. The course is led by a team of instructors including Juan Vargas and Valentina Álvarez.

Additionally, the Laboratory of Electronic Exploration will start on September 3. This initiative, led by the artistic collective of Diego Villarroel and Sebastián Castro, focuses on the ‘do it yourself’ philosophy by teaching participants to build sound devices using electronic waste.
