El Corte Inglés and Iberia partner to allow Avios redemption

El Corte Inglés and Iberia have established a partnership allowing Iberia Club members to redeem Avios points for purchases across the retail group’s various brands. The agreement, effective as of October 21, enables customers to exchange points for coupons valued between 5 and 250 euros.

Redemptions can be made through the Avios website and applied to physical stores, websites, or apps belonging to El Corte Inglés, Hipercor, Supercor, Supermercados El Corte Inglés, and Sfera.

Beatriz Guillén, Iberia’s Customer Director, described the alliance as a “milestone for Iberia Club,” noting that it allows members to use points for products and experiences beyond travel. Rob McDonald, Commercial Director of IAG Loyalty, stated the move aims to make Avios more relevant and accessible for members in Spain.
