El Corte Inglés to hire over 500 workers for Christmas season

El Corte Inglés has announced plans to hire more than 500 workers to reinforce its teams ahead of the Christmas season. The recruitment drive targets various roles across different areas of the stores and back-office operations, including sales, customer service, cashiers, replenishment, order preparation, warehouse, catering, and telephone assistance.

Vacancies are available in Lisbon and Vila Nova de Gaia, as well as in the warehouses of Alcochete and Olival. The company is offering both full-time and part-time positions for the months of November, December, and January. No prior professional experience is required, and the retailer will provide initial training. The company noted that these seasonal roles may lead to future opportunities depending on business needs and individual profiles.
