El Ejido summer schools support over 115 minors

In El Ejido, more than 115 minors are participating in summer schools funded by the Junta de Andalucía. These programs, organized by the Association of Families and Women in Rural Andalusia (AFAMMER) along with the Almerian Foundation for People with Disabilities and Innova, provide educational, sporting, and leisure activities.

The initiative targets children from families facing economic difficulties or social exclusion risks. In El Ejido specifically, 116 minors are enrolled. Across the province of Almería, 574 minors benefit from 17 different summer schools supported by a 450,000 euro investment from the regional government.
