El Fuerte government manages San Blas Market fire recovery

The municipal government of El Fuerte, Sinaloa, is coordinating recovery efforts for the San Blas Market following a fire caused by a short circuit. Mayor Gildardo Leyva Ortega conducted a site inspection alongside civil protection, public works, and electricity officials to assess the damage.

Three commercial stalls were identified as the most heavily affected. To facilitate the recovery of the space and allow vendors to resume activities, the local government will assist with the installation of a load center and necessary wiring. Additionally, officials are seeking infrastructure support and resources from the Sinaloa State Ministry of Economy.
