AAA Heroes Inmortales 2026: El Grande Americano retains Mega Championship

Lucha Libre AAA Heroes Inmortales El Grande Americano Dominik Mysterio Rey Fenix

At the AAA Heroes Inmortales XVIII event held in Mexico City, El Grande Americano successfully defended the AAA Mega Championship against Dominik Mysterio. The match was marked by significant interference from Dorian Roldán and Omos, who attempted to assist Mysterio. The conflict escalated when AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio intervened, using a chair to strike Omos and his own son to prevent further interference, allowing the champion to secure the victory.

Other championship results from the event include:

• Rey Fenix retained the AAA Cruiserweight Championship in an open challenge against Laredo Kid, Jack Cartwheel, and Kento, following a last-minute change due to an injury to Mini Vikingo. • La Catalina successfully defended the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship in a triple threat match against Flammer and La Hiedra. • Los Perros del Mal (Angel, Berto, and Daga) retained the AAA World Trios Championship against La Parka, Mr. Iguana, and Niño Hamburguesa. • The Wagner Brothers maintained their hold on the AAA Tag Team titles by defeating Taurus and Hysteria.

The event also featured a controversial segment during Marisela Peña’s Hall of Fame induction, where Dorian Roldán interrupted to accuse Rey Mysterio of having a secret relationship with Peña.
