El Hijo del Vikingo updates fans on ACL injury recovery

Professional wrestler El Hijo del Vikingo has provided an update on his recovery following surgery for a torn ACL on July 7. Appearing as the first guest on the new WWE Ahora Spanish-language podcast, the 29-year-old athlete reported that his rehabilitation is progressing better than expected.

Vikingo stated that doctors have been ‘impressed’ with his progress, noting that he has begun walking sooner than anticipated. While he is taking a step-by-step approach to avoid rushing the process, he expressed that he is doing very well. The injury has kept the former AAA Latin American Champion out of action since June.
