El-Kanemi Warriors arrive in Guinea-Bissau for CAF Confederation Cup
The El-Kanemi Warriors have arrived in Bissau, Guinea-Bissau, for their CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round second-leg match against UDIB. The Nigerian club holds a 3-0 advantage following their first-leg victory in Ikenne.
Head coach Emmanuel King stated that while the team's physical fitness and tactical application have improved, there is still significant room for development. King noted that the squad has only been assembled for approximately four weeks and is still adapting to his demands. Despite the commanding lead, he cautioned the players against complacency and emphasized the need for continued hard work to secure progression to the next round.
King also expressed gratitude to Borno State Governor Babagana Umara Zulum and the Borno State Government for their ongoing support of the club.
