ÜÇEL Kauçuk launches joint production plant in Algeria

Turkish automotive aftermarket parts maker ÜÇEL Kauçuk A.Ş. is establishing a 2,000‑square‑metre joint production facility with its Algerian dealer. The plant, located in Algeria, will produce rubber and rubber‑metal components for the local market, reducing supply times and strengthening the company’s presence in North Africa.

The investment follows a strategy to expand in the region, where ÜÇEL already exports more than $1 million of aftermarket parts annually. Company board deputy chairman and general manager Hüseyin Oruç said the project reflects confidence in the Algerian market and a long‑term commitment to local manufacturing. The new facility will complement the firm’s existing operations in Bursa, Turkey, and support its broader export network spanning Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas.
