El Mante municipal government implements infrastructure and social programs

The municipal government of El Mante, Tamaulipas, led by Mayor Patty Chío, has implemented several infrastructure and social welfare initiatives. Recent actions include an integrated service brigade in the Unión Burocrática neighborhood, which involved deep asphalt patching, street coating, and the replacement of streetlights with LED technology.

In terms of urban development, the administration has launched paving projects in the Altavista and Obrera 2 colonies, with an investment of approximately 2.6 million pesos. Additionally, the municipal council unanimously approved modifications to the 2026 FAIS infrastructure program to account for rising material costs, ensuring the completion of priority projects in the Altavista, Núñez, and Campesina colonies.

Beyond physical infrastructure, the local government has focused on legal certainty for residents by delivering 15 property deeds to families in the Chapultepec and Carolina Yucatán neighborhoods, providing formal ownership to long-term residents.
