El Palmer Basket defeats Fibwi Mallorca in preseason derby

El Palmer Basket secured an 86-79 victory against Fibwi Mallorca in the final preseason derby of the Trofeu AON Illes Balears. The match served as the final warm-up for both teams before the official start of the Primera FEB season.

The game remained closely contested throughout the first half. El Palmer held a narrow 20-19 lead after the first quarter, and the teams went into halftime with the score at 41-38 in favor of the home side. While Fibwi Mallorca briefly took the lead in the third quarter through Jaume Lobo, El Palmer responded with a decisive scoring run to extend their advantage to 65-52 by the end of the period.

Despite efforts from Lysander Bracey to close the gap in the final quarter, El Palmer managed their lead to finish the preseason undefeated. Both clubs are scheduled to begin their official league campaign at Son Moix on Friday, September 25.
