El Paso and Santa Teresa border crossings report high wait times
Motorists attempting to cross into the United States are experiencing significant wait times at several major ports of entry in the El Paso and Santa Teresa region, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) reports.
At the Paso Del Norte (PDN) bridge, general traffic is seeing the highest congestion with estimated waits of 65 minutes. The Ready lane at this crossing reports a 60-minute wait, while the Sentri lane remains efficient with waits under 10 minutes. The Córdova bridge in Las Américas reports waits of 45 minutes for general lanes and 40 minutes for Ready lanes.
At the Zaragoza-Ysleta bridge, the Ready lane reports a 60-minute wait, whereas the Sentri lane offers rapid crossing in under 10 minutes. In Santa Teresa, general lanes report 55-minute delays and Ready lanes report 50-minute delays as the port approaches its 10:00 pm closing time.
