El Paso GOP Chairman Michael Aboud to sue Sacha Baron Cohen

Michael Aboud, the chairman of the El Paso County Republican Party, is planning to sue comedian Sacha Baron Cohen following his appearance in the upcoming film ‘Ali G: Who Iz I?’.

Aboud claims he was led to believe he was participating in a non-fiction project and was not an active participant in the comedic elements. In the film, Aboud appears in a training program alongside a character played by Cohen, where he is depicted performing various satirical actions, including dropping a prosthetic baby from a drone to prevent it from touching U.S. soil.

Aboud stated to local media that he did not provide a signature before filming began. The film, written and directed by Cohen and distributed by Amazon MGM Studios, is scheduled for a worldwide one-weekend release.
