El Prestoso Festival Launches Ninth Edition in Madrid

The cultural festival El Prestoso presented its ninth edition at Marilians Records in Madrid. Organisers highlighted acoustic sets by Axolotes Mexicanos and Nadadora, and announced a series of activities in Cangas del Narcea, Asturias, including guided nature routes, honey‑making workshops, wine tastings, picnics, and visits to the Monastery of Corias. Co‑director Juan Gama de Cossío emphasized the event’s aim to promote tourism, local gastronomy and cultural heritage in a region facing depopulation. Free camping and van‑parking zones were also offered, and a free opening day on 6 August will feature a DJ set before moving to the main stage in Cangas del Narcea.
