El Puerto de Santa María begins recovery of Bellavista coastal promenade

The municipality of El Puerto de Santa María has launched a recovery project for the Paseo Antonio Ariza Cañadilla, a scenic area known as Bellavista due to its panoramic views of the Bay of Cádiz.

Mayor Germán Beardo has supervised the works, which aim to transform the previously neglected and difficult-to-access area into a natural, integrated, and accessible space. The project includes the creation of new green zones with Mediterranean vegetation, shade and rest areas, urban furniture, and an efficient irrigation network. The intervention is designed to turn the site into a significant meeting point and tourist destination, offering views of the coastline and the Castillo de Santa Catalina.
