El Rodeo I prison conditions denounced by family of Josnars Baduel

The sisters of Josnars Adolfo Baduel, who has been imprisoned for six years, were granted a special visit to the El Rodeo I penitentiary after more than two years of limited contact through glass partitions.

During the visit, Andreína and Margareth Baduel reported inhumane living conditions for inmates at the facility. They alleged that prisoners face cruel treatment, including sleeping on cement structures, using precarious sanitary facilities, and facing continuous restrictions on access to food. The family has called on civil society and international organizations to monitor the fundamental rights and detention conditions of political prisoners in Venezuela.
