El Saler roads CV-500 and CV-401 reopen after Devesa fire

Major roads CV-500 and CV-401 in El Saler have reopened to traffic following a fire in the Devesa area. Local authorities confirmed that circulation is now fluid, restoring regular access to the districts of El Saler, El Palmar, and El Perellonet.

While main access routes are open, several specific lanes and parking areas on Avenida de la Gola del Pujol remain closed. Additionally, the Camí Vell de la Devesa and various 'Tallafoc' areas are still restricted. Emergency services, including three Valencia Fire Department units and police drone units, continue work to fully extinguish the fire.

The Valencia City Council has also initiated cleaning operations in the Devesa area, focusing on removing pine needles and plastic waste. Access to local beaches, hospitality businesses, and coastal parking lots has also been restored, allowing for the gradual resumption of tourism and local economic activity.
