El Salvador and Panama to face off in UNCAF U-16 final

The El Salvador and Panama U-16 men's national teams will compete for the UNCAF FIFA Forward tournament title at the Estadio Nacional Las Delicias in Santa Tecla, El Salvador.

El Salvador secured its place in the final after finishing top of Group A. The team remained undefeated through the group stage, recording two wins and one draw. A decisive 2-1 victory over Honduras, featuring a late goal by Isaac Kofi Twumasi, allowed El Salvador to advance via goal difference over Guatemala.

Panama enters the final as the leader of Group B, also finishing the group stage undefeated with five points. Their campaign included a draw against Nicaragua, a win over Puerto Rico, and a 1-1 draw against Costa Rica. However, Panama will be without their top scorer, Jorshua Gómez, who is suspended for the final due to yellow card accumulation.
