El Salvador begins school uniform and footwear measurements for 2027

The Ministry of Education in El Salvador has launched a nationwide measurement process for school uniforms and footwear intended for the 2027 school year. The initiative aims to ensure that students receive correctly sized supplies as part of the 2027 School Package.

To improve efficiency and accuracy, the ministry is implementing a new system using standardized measurement templates. Data collected during these sessions is entered into a digital platform to create a direct and rapid record, minimizing errors. The measurement activities have been conducted simultaneously in various locations, including San Salvador and Santa Tecla, without interrupting regular classroom instruction.
