Bolivia implements vehicle restrictions for National Pedestrian Day
Bolivia will observe the National Pedestrian and Cyclist Day on September 6, a day established by Law No. 150 to reduce pollution and promote alternative transportation and physical activity.
In Oruro, motorized vehicle circulation will be restricted from 00:00 to 18:00. The day will feature family activities, including the sixth edition of the “Dr. Sergio Silvetti Pardo” non-motorized stroller race.
In La Paz, vehicle restrictions will apply from 08:00 to 18:00, with exceptions for emergency services and authorized vehicles. Bus terminals in La Paz and Cochabamba have announced adjusted schedules and suspensions of regular operations to comply with the national mandate.
