El Salvador hosts ISA World Longboard Championship

El Salvador is set to host the fourth edition of the ISA World Longboard Championship at El Sunzal in La Libertad. The event, officially presented by the Ministry of Tourism (MITUR), the National Institute of Sports (INDES), and the International Surfing Association (ISA), will feature athletes from 37 nations.

According to Robert Fasulo, executive director of the ISA, the tournament serves as a qualifying event for the upcoming Pan American Longboard Games in Lima. Local authorities emphasized that the championship aims to position the country as a premier destination for international sports, driving socioeconomic growth, job creation, and tourism in the La Libertad coastal region.
