Various community and charity sporting events are being organized to support medical research and social causes. In Huete, Spain, the eighth Marcha Solidaria will take place on October 18 to benefit pediatric cancer research at the Hospital Niño Jesús in Madrid.

In Herencia, Spain, the fifth edition of the Run Like a Hero race aims to raise 25,000 euros for research into Phelan-McDermid syndrome, a rare genetic disorder. Participants can engage in 5km or 10km runs, or contribute via a “kilometer 0” donation option.

In Benalmádena, Spain, the second Workout to Help Games will be held on October 24 at the Innova building. This family-oriented event features various sports challenges to raise funds for the Association of Pediatric Oncology Volunteers of Málaga (AVOI).

Additionally, the XII Carrera Solidaria ‘La Vuelta al Cole de Uno entre cien mil’ will be held in Talavera de la Reina, involving local schoolchildren to support research against childhood leukemia through the Uno entre cien mil foundation.
