El Salvador prepares delegation for Central American Inclusive Games

El Salvador has officially presented the national flag to a delegation of 152 student-athletes set to compete in the XII Central American Inclusive Games. The ceremony was led by René Martínez, president of the National Institute of Sports (INDES), and Minister of Education Karla Trigueros.

The delegation consists of 222 people, including 152 students aged 10 to 19. The athletes will compete in four primary disciplines: para-athletics (92 athletes), para-swimming (44), goalball (8), and boccia (8). Notably, boccia will make its historical debut as an exhibition sport in this regional competition.

The games are scheduled to take place from October 25 to 31 in the Guatemalan locations of Suchitepéquez, Retalhuleu, and Quetzaltenango. INDES is providing full logistical support, including competition apparel, housing, and transportation.
