El Salvador reports 19 injuries in multiple traffic accidents

Multiple traffic accidents in El Salvador have resulted in at least 19 injuries, many attributed to heavy rainfall and poor visibility. In the La Libertad district, two people were hospitalized following a collision on Bazzini Boulevard, while separate pedestrian incidents were reported in El Congo and near El Tunco.

In San Salvador, a motorcyclist sustained injuries on Ticsa Street, and another accident occurred in San Salvador Centro when rain caused a rider to lose control. Additionally, two officials from the Viceministerio de Transporte (VMT) were involved in a road incident on the Troncal del Norte highway due to low visibility. Other incidents included a collision between a staff transport microbus and a car, and two motorcyclists being struck by a vehicle attempting to avoid water accumulation on Venezuela Boulevard.
