El Salvador reports zero homicides for August 11

The National Civil Police (PNC) reported that El Salvador recorded zero homicides on Tuesday, August 11, 2026. According to official statistics, the country has experienced nine days without homicides during the month of August so far.

Since the implementation of the current state of exception, El Salvador has recorded more than 1,168 days without homicides. Authorities attribute these results to the Plan Control Territorial (PCT) and the state of exception that has been in effect since March 2022.
