El Salvador strengthens investment ties with UAE, Turkey, and Kuwait

During the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, El Salvador's Foreign Minister Alexandra Hill Tinoco held high-level bilateral meetings to attract foreign investment and boost development projects.

In a meeting with the Vice Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the two nations formalized legal instruments to protect investor financial security. A key agreement signed is a treaty to eliminate double taxation, intended to incentivize commercial flow and protect cross-border investments.

Additionally, Hill Tinoco met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to discuss diversifying export offerings and encouraging Turkish capital inflows, specifically focusing on strategic sectors such as commercial aviation and renewable energy.
