Residents report that this prolonged idling and the weight of the heavy units are continuously wearing down the asphalt on Libertad Street, specifically at the intersection with Principal Street in the Las Delicias sector. Community members noted that new potholes appear frequently, and drivers often find themselves waiting in queues positioned directly inside existing craters.

Local citizens have expressed frustration, noting that previous paving efforts by the Anzoátegui government approximately two years ago failed to provide a lasting solution, as the road surface deteriorated shortly after repairs. Residents are calling on the Simón Rodríguez mayor's office to intervene and provide better road conditions for both the heavy transport sector and general traffic.
