ELA Container launches modular campus in Haren, Germany

ELA Container opened its own campus at the company’s main site in Haren (Ems), Germany. The new campus, built with modular container construction, includes a staff restaurant called Diner 72 and a training centre named elacademy. Diner 72 consists of 31 containers covering about 470 m² of floor space plus a 90 m² terrace and serves roughly 200 employees each day with healthy, seasonal meals sourced from regional suppliers. Executive Chef Nils Ludewig, formerly of a starred restaurant in Haren, helped design the menu and concept. Adjacent to the restaurant, the elacademy building was relocated and expanded to provide internal qualification, knowledge transfer and cross‑departmental exchange. HR Director Berthold Röttger emphasized the importance of the facility for employee health and activity. The campus reflects a modern work environment that goes beyond traditional office and production areas, combining architectural quality with functional flexibility.
