ELAS demands transparency over DYPA spending at Thessaloniki Fair
The ELAS political party is demanding explanations from the Ministry of Labour regarding the costs associated with the Public Employment Service (DYPA) presence at the Thessaloniki International Fair (DETh).
According to allegations, the total cost of the presence may have approached €500,000, with approximately €300,000 reportedly spent solely on the construction of a booth. ELAS has raised concerns regarding the management of public resources, contrasting the expensive exhibition display with reported operational issues within DYPA, such as failing digital systems, staffing shortages, low wages, and the sudden termination of experienced personnel contracts.
