Elías Piccirillo seeks release from home detention in Comodoro Py hearing

Elías Piccirillo, the ex‑husband of Jesica Cirio, appeared before judges Roberto Boico and Mariano Llorens in a Comodoro Py courtroom on Tuesday at 11:00. He requested either his excarceration or a transfer of his home‑detention from Banfield to the residence of his partner, Florencia Epelbaum, in the Núñez district.

Piccirillo is the sole detainee in a case accusing him of organizing a false operation and planting cocaine and a weapon on financier Francisco Hauque, with whom he allegedly owed a large sum. In his submission he also asked the court to allow him to rent a property he owns in the Nordelta residential complex to cover personal expenses.
