Elassona Municipality faces annulment of two administrative decisions

The Decentralized Administration has annulled two separate decisions made by the municipal authority of Elassona, citing them as illegal. The move follows a legality check prompted by an official request from Athanasios Bizios, leader of the main opposition faction ‘All We Change’.

The annulled decisions include the Municipal Committee’s approval of a programmatic contract with AENOL regarding administrative support for the Municipal Police office, and the granting of a municipal agricultural tractor to the ‘Oikonomios’ Social Cooperative Enterprise.

Bizios stated that the decision validates the opposition’s previous allegations of administrative negligence and a lack of respect for legal procedures. He emphasized the need for transparency and strict adherence to the law within the municipality.
