Elazığ education officials plan 2026-2027 academic year

District National Education Directors held a meeting in Elazığ to evaluate the 2025-2026 academic year and establish objectives for the 2026-2027 school year. Chaired by Provincial National Education Director Aziz Gün, the meeting focused on implementing the ‘Türkiye Yüzyılı Maarif Modeli’ to enhance educational processes.

Key priorities include increasing student academic success, strengthening national and spiritual values education, and maintaining school safety and discipline. Discussions also addressed preventing student absenteeism, enhancing guidance services, and fostering school-family cooperation.

Administrative preparations will involve completing physical infrastructure maintenance, managing transportation and dormitory services, and increasing the use of digital platforms such as EBA and MEBİ. Additionally, the meeting emphasized improving the quality of vocational and technical education through expanded workshop usage and professional skill inventories.
