Elazığ resident cares for 50 stray cats in his garden

İsmail Dündar, a 62-year-old resident of the Altınçevre neighborhood in Elazığ, has been caring for stray cats since 2016. Every evening, approximately 50 cats gather in the garden of his home near the Medine Mosque to be fed and watered.

In response to his ongoing efforts, teams from the Elazığ Municipality Veterinary Affairs Directorate visited Dündar to provide support. Following instructions from the mayor, the municipal teams delivered cat food to assist with the daily needs of the animals.
