Arcidosso and Olbia roll out extra waste‑collection kits and 6Card access
The municipality of Arcidosso, in partnership with the regional waste‑management firm Sei Toscana, will hold an extraordinary distribution of door‑to‑door waste‑collection kits and the 6Card needed to use street‑side containers. The service runs from 7 August to 12 September at a temporary desk in the town‑hall entrance, open on Fridays from 15:00‑19:00 and on Saturdays (including Ferragosto) from 09:00‑13:00. Residents must show their tax‑code (or the tax code on the waste‑bill) and a personal ID; a written delegation is accepted for a trusted third party.
In Olbia, the private operator De Vizia Transfer Spa is delivering new door‑to‑door waste‑collection kits during the week of 3‑8 August. The rollout follows a street‑by‑street schedule, replaces old containers, and requires the same tax‑code and ID verification. When no one is home, operators leave a notice with instructions for a later pickup. Both initiatives aim to modernise the local waste‑collection system and ensure that households have the correct containers and access cards.
