Elbit Systems unveils AI-driven autonomous combat systems
Elbit Systems has unveiled FUSE, an AI-driven autonomous combat system designed for scalable, coordinated operations across land and air domains. The system utilizes One2Many operational capabilities, allowing for the centralized real-time coordination of large numbers of autonomous aerial and ground vehicles.
A central component of the portfolio is Dominion-X, an AI-powered unified operating system. This system is specifically designed to enable operations in GNSS-denied or GPS-denied environments through advanced automatic target recognition and homing capabilities. It supports manned-unmanned teaming (MUM-T), allowing autonomous systems to work alongside existing military formations and crewed platforms.
The technology aims to facilitate distributed operations via a shared mission network, enabling real-time mission data exchange between platforms. According to the company, these autonomous technologies have already accumulated over 1,000,000 operational flight hours and 100,000 autonomous ground operation hours.
