Elbląg is hosting a variety of sporting and recreational events this weekend. On Saturday evening, over 1,100 participants are expected to take part in the 4th Elbląski Bieg Nocny pod Gwiazdami, a night run on Modrzewina street featuring a silent pyrotechnics display.
Sunday features several outdoor activities, including a municipal cycling and kayaking trip along the Nogat river covering approximately 46 kilometers. Additionally, the Rzeka Elbląg SUP CUP begins on Sunday, September 20, with paddleboard races held on the Elbląg River between the Wysoki and Niski bridges. This SUP competition consists of three rounds scheduled for September 20, October 4, and October 18, where participants compete in separate men's and women's categories to accumulate points.
For indoor recreation, the Dolinka Water Recreation Center remains open for swimming, sauna, and jacuzzi use throughout the weekend.
