Elbląg to host European Mobility Week events

The city of Elbląg will participate in the European Mobility Week (EMW) from September 12 to 22, 2026. Under the theme ‘Mobility for Everyone,’ the initiative aims to promote safe, sustainable, and accessible transport options, including public transit, cycling, and walking.

The scheduled program includes a Car-Free Day on September 12, featuring a procession through the city streets and a festival at the Kalbar track. Other activities include bicycle workshops for children and adults, urban cycling safety workshops at Plac Jagiellończyka, and a ‘Cycling Friday’ to encourage the use of scooters and bikes.

Additionally, the city will host a public transit competition organized by the Elbląg Public Transport Authority and a municipal cycling excursion involving bike-kayaks organized by MOSiR Elbląg.
