Elche CF targets Israeli left‑back Roy Revivo and completes signing of Argentine midfielder Facundo Buonanotte

Spanish La Liga side Elche CF is in advanced talks with Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv to acquire 23‑year‑old left‑back Roy Revivo. An initial offer of just under €2 million was rejected, and the Israeli side indicated it would consider a deal only if the fee exceeds €3 million. Revivo, a 1.85 m tall international who won the Israeli Cup last season, wants to move to Spain and would join a defensive line that already includes Germán Valera.

Elche has also completed the loan signing of 21‑year‑old Argentine midfielder Facundo Buonanotte from Brighton & Hove Albion. The player, who also holds an Italian passport, arrives after spells at Leicester City, Chelsea and Leeds United, and is expected to add creativity to Martín Anselmi’s midfield. The transfers are part of sporting director Christian Bragarnik’s effort to reshape the squad for the 2026/27 season.
