Elche choir and Asturian tourist train draw summer crowds in Spain

The Escolania of the Misteri d'Elx in Elche has reached a record 45 children, more than the usual 30, as the UNESCO World Heritage site celebrates its 25th anniversary. Mestre de Capella Francisco Javier Gonzálvez highlighted the surge in interest after the pandemic, noting that families now approach the choir voluntarily.

In the Asturian municipality of Aller, the sixth edition of the Tren Turístico de Aller opened its inaugural route between Moreda and Murias. The tourist train, praised by local children and the mayor's office, offers four itineraries that include theatrical stops at the Cascada de Xurbeo and visits to cultural landmarks such as the San Vicente de Serrapio church and the Torre de Soto. The attraction has become a popular summer activity for families and visitors.
