Elche football performance improves under Martín Anselmi

Under the leadership of Martín Anselmi, Elche has seen a significant improvement in away match performance during the 2026-2027 season. The team has already secured nine points on the road, including decisive victories against Espanyol and Rayo Vallecano.

These results, achieved within the first month of the season, have already surpassed the total away points accumulated by the previous manager, Eder Sarabia, throughout the entire preceding season. In addition to the wins, the squad has recorded three draws against Deportivo, Athletic Club, and Villarreal, maintaining a strong competitive form away from the Manuel Martínez Valero stadium.
