Global athletic events span running, cycling, and charity races

Various athletic and sporting events are taking place across Spain, Argentina, Chile, Mexico, and Peru.

In Spain, the XI Carrera Popular de El Altet featured a tribute to a community member named Arancha, with Andrés Macías Sánchez winning the 10K. The Elche Night Race is also preparing its sixth edition, focusing on the 10K distance. Additionally, the San Xil Trail in Casaio saw 180 participants navigate difficult mountain terrain.

In Argentina, the Mi Ciudad Corre event in Neuquén drew over 8,000 participants for competitive and recreational runs. Other regional events include the Rally Integración Catriel-25 de Mayo and a solidarity run in Villa Mercedes to benefit APAD.

In Mexico, the Corrida MágiK in Providencia is organizing a race to support children with cancer, while Tepic hosts the “Corre por ellos” charity race. Hermosillo is also preparing for the Second Firefighters Race. In Colima, the Ruta de los Tres Horizontes will offer 5K, 10K, and 21K distances.

In Peru, Sedaloreto is organizing the “Corre por el Agua” 5K to promote water conservation. In the cycling world, Mexican rider Isaac del Toro is set to compete in the UCI Road World Championships in Montreal, facing top rivals like Remco Evenepoel.
