Elda invests in Camara forest track maintenance
The Elda City Council has completed improvement and maintenance works on the Camara forest track, involving an investment of 11,205.82 euros. The project was subsidized by the Municipal Strategic Forestry Fund of the Generalitat Valenciana.
The works focused on conditioning the transit area of the 2,278-meter-long track through stone crushing, ground leveling, and surface compaction. These interventions aim to improve driving conditions and facilitate vehicle access to the area.
The primary objective is to ensure sufficient access for emergency vehicles in the event of forest fires or other natural environment emergencies. Environment Councilor Cristina Rodríguez Armigen noted that maintaining forest infrastructure is essential for emergency response and environmental protection.
