Elda Xix resigns as Quintana Roo Secretary of Education

Elda Xix Euan has resigned from her position as the Secretary of Education for Quintana Roo. Xix announced her departure in Chetumal, stating her intention to seek the Municipal Coordination for the Defense of Transformation and National Sovereignty in Othón P. Blanco through Morena's internal processes for 2027.

Her resignation impacts the political landscape in Quintana Roo, as she intends to return to her seat as a federal deputy. This move follows the recent loss of state coordination roles for other figures, such as Marybel Villegas Canché, who has lost her deputy position as a substitute following Xix's announcement.
